●Job Profile
Dutch branch of a large Japan-owned and UK-based Communications company is seeking an experienced System Engineer, bilingual in English and Japanese. The company provides a wide range of services, from consultancy to security and cloud optimisation, and are looking for someone who shares their commitment of delivering exactly what the customers need.

●Reporting Line
Reporting to the Manager of Customer Engineering

●Main Responsibilities
You will be expected to provide technical deployment and support services, focused on existing on-premises customer infrastructure. Successful applicants will be working on a variety of development stages, from presales and scope and hardware build definition, to technical design and project delivery.

•Design, deployment and support of core technologies, including desktop and server support
•Occasional on-site work will be required
•Provide solution proposals and pre-/post-sales support
•Supplying technical design and support documentation for all relevant projects, including holding post-deployment handover meetings
•Providing remote and on-site support to customers on deployed solutions
•Status and fault reporting to customers; managing escalations where necessary

• Implementing J-SOX and self-audits for a specified business area, including summarising findings in written reports
